1) The study compared the effects of intravenous ketamine, clonidine, ketamine+clonidine, and saline on 120 patients over various intra-op and post-op time intervals. 2) Key parameters like heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation were analyzed and found to differ significantly between groups except in pre-op. Adverse effects also differed significantly between groups. 3) Intravenous clonidine was found to be most effective in preventing post-op shivering compared to other treatments. Ketamine+clonidine and saline groups had more stable vital parameters intra-op compared to ketamine and clonidine alone.
