To XXXX at XXXXXX Group:
I am writing to apply for the Talent Acquisition Sourcer position. I am a
graduate student at Grand Valley State University with experience in
customer service and recruitment. This job attracts me because I am
interested in joining a high-performing HR team in an established
organization that allows me to contribute my sourcing and client services
abilities.
Previously, I have worked as a recruitment specialist for a nonprofit
consulting firm, where I was tasked with utilizing applicant tracking systems to
source and screen job candidates, as well perform first-round interviews and
traveling to college campuses in the Chicago area to recruit in person. This
opportunity allowed me to develop and implement a strategic recruiting
method to deliver a constant pipeline of qualified candidates and allow for the
greatest return on investment for my firm. Additionally, my positions in other
customer service-oriented industries has allowed me to develop the
necessary problem-solving, time management, communication, and technical
skills in order to perform this position successfully. My academic background
has also provided me with substantial knowledge regarding talent acquisition
and human resources management that I believe are transferable to a
position such as this one.
My combination of work experience and academic history make me an
excellent candidate for the recruiter position, and I believe I could be an asset
to XXXXX Group. I appreciate you taking the time to consider my application,
and I am looking forward to hearing back from you soon.
Best,
Maria Sych
