Illustrated by: Gramma Doc
I am
2. I was born on St. Patrick’s Day: March 17, 2008.
Do you remember I told you that last year when I
was ?
I looked like this, remember?
1
3. I thought you might have forgotten. Gramma Doc
still forgets stuff.
Do you remember who also has a birthday on St.
Patrick’s Day????
This guy: Mr. T Hahm.
Happy Birthday, Terry!

4. Speaking of Gramma Doc, , ,
I think her drawing skills are improving since our
last book. She is hoping that before this book is
done, she’ll be able to draw a picture of me that
does not look like a cartoon.
I think she did very well with this picture of
Mommy when she was about 2. She is wearing
Chief’s boots!
3
5. Uncle Kyle called lizards zizzards when he was
my age. This little guy is actually a collared zizzard.
(I mean, lizard.) Chief taught me that.
Gramma Doc told me that I learn very
quickly.
4
6. Chief thinks Gramma Doc c
acts like a lioness.
5
7. Gramma Doc told me that Chief is her Lion King.
He looks scary to me!
6
8. Chief & Gramma Doc told me that these pictures
tell the story of their relationship. I don’t get it.
They said they’d explain when I’m older.
7
9. Gramma Doc
told me we have to get to the point now:
I like to count.
We are writing this book to help me count
even better than I do now.
8
10. Zero does not seem like a number.
I suppose it serves a purpose.
Gramma Doc told me she’d
explain that when I’m older.
9
20. Gramma Doc did not have time to finish the
picture of me I told you about at the
beginning of our book.
You can see how far she got (below).
She told me that sometimes it will be good for me,
too, to know when it’s time to stop a project.
She said I can always finish it later.
(Unless Mommy or Daddy
tells me it has to be done NOW!!)

21. Gramma Doc and I had fun writing and
illustrating this book together.
Thank you so much for reading it!
We’ll be working on our next book.
I’ll be 3 when it’s finished!
(Don’t forget to look at the back of our book –
more pictures! AND one of my originals)
