This document discusses a study on the effects of India's COVID-19 phase-1 lockdown on Sambhar Lake, the largest saline wetland in India. The study examines Sambhar Lake using remote sensing data and field visits to analyze changes in the lake's water quality and biomass pre- and post-lockdown. The results show changes in the lake's true color, red edge band, and normalized water index values before and after the lockdown period.
