Introduction of EVA Interlayer Vacuum Bag Laminating Glass MachineEva Glass
The EVA Vacuum Glass Laminating Machine uses a silicone vacuum bag to laminate glass with Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) interlayer film under vacuum conditions, which prevents bubbles in the final laminated glass. It can laminate EVA interlayer film with various materials like art, decorated glass, privacy glass, and solar panels. Compared to autoclave production of Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) interlayer film, the EVA Vacuum Glass Laminating Machine is easier to operate, less costly to build, and more flexible.
The document provides instructions for cleaning glass surfaces before laminating glass with an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) interlayer film. It states that cleaning the glass surface is important to prevent bubbles and delamination. The recommended cleaning methods include using clean water for lightly contaminated surfaces, a solution of 85% ethanol and 15% acetic acid for highly contaminated surfaces, and potentially a 1% hydrofluoric acid solution for serious contamination. It cautions that hydrofluoric acid is corrosive and irritating and protective equipment should be worn. The instructions also note to completely clean and dry the glass surface before laminating. Contact information is provided for EVA interlayer films and smart switchable films from the company.
Make Switchable Privacy Glass Solution with NON-ADHESIVE Privacy FILM In Lami...Eva Glass
The document describes how to make and install switchable privacy glass using a non-adhesive privacy film laminating method. The document discusses 10 things to know about laminated glass inserted with ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) film. Thicker laminated glass and those with more layers are stronger. Laminated glass made with semi-tempered glass has better impact resistance than those made with fully tempered or float glass. Laminated glass is stronger when using a thicker EVA film. Neutral sealants should be used to seal edges. Proper cleaning and heat control during lamination impact quality and lifespan.

This document discusses time and temperature settings for laminating EVA interlayer film at low temperatures of 80 degrees Celsius or below. It provides the results of tests conducted with an EVAFORCE LOW TEMP 80-120 interlayer film laminated at different temperature stages and durations. The best results were obtained with a first stage of 65 degrees for 10 minutes ramp up and 20 minutes soak time, and a second stage of 82 degrees for 10 minutes ramp up and 190 minutes, which produced a good lamination with no unmelted spots. Proper time and temperature settings are important for successful low-temperature lamination.
The document discusses using a thermal cutter hot knife to trim the edges of laminated glass where the interlayer material has overflowed, and using green masking tape to fix the edges and seal the laminated glass combination.

EVA film should be stored in a ventilated, dry, clean area away from heat, sunlight, water, and combustible materials. It should not be stacked more than 3 layers if rolled or 5 layers if in plywood cases. EVA film absorbs heat or moisture easily which can cause it to adhere or yellow and lose adhesive strength over time. It should be stored following a first-in, first-out process and used within 12 months.
The document defines crystal particles that may form in EVA interlayer film for safety laminated glass. If the EVA resin is not completely melted during production or if additives react incorrectly, crystal-like particles of various colors can form inside the film. Properly produced EVA interlayer film should not contain these types of crystal particles.
The document compares the light transmittance of CNC Glass Interlayer's EVAFORCE EXTREME film to a super clear EVA film from an international supplier. Spectrophotometer tests found that the EVAFORCE EXTREME blocked more UV radiation but had similar or better visible light transmittance. The conclusion is that the EVAFORCE EXTREME film is the best choice for protecting humans and furniture from UV rays while maintaining high transparency.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Observability Concepts EVERY Developer Should Know -- DeveloperWeek Europe.pdfPaige Cruz
Monitoring and observability aren’t traditionally found in software curriculums and many of us cobble this knowledge together from whatever vendor or ecosystem we were first introduced to and whatever is a part of your current company’s observability stack.
While the dev and ops silo continues to crumble….many organizations still relegate monitoring & observability as the purview of ops, infra and SRE teams. This is a mistake - achieving a highly observable system requires collaboration up and down the stack.
I, a former op, would like to extend an invitation to all application developers to join the observability party will share these foundational concepts to build on:
Climate Impact of Software Testing at Nordic Testing DaysKari Kakkonen
My slides at Nordic Testing Days 6.6.2024
Climate impact / sustainability of software testing discussed on the talk. ICT and testing must carry their part of global responsibility to help with the climat warming. We can minimize the carbon footprint but we can also have a carbon handprint, a positive impact on the climate. Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.
