What is SEO? 
• Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of 
improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site 
from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or 
“algorithmic“ and “Inorganic”) search results. 
• Process of using methods to boost ranking or frequency of 
a website in returned results by a search engine. 
• Goal is to increase the volume of qualified traffic to site. 
• Two popular methods of SEO are organic and non-organic. 
• In this process, we choose targeted keyword phrases 
related to a site, and ensures that the site places well when 
those keyword phrases are searched on Web by

• Organic SEO or Natural SEO or Free SEO as it is also called, generally takes 
more time to execute but can yield longer term results. It works by 
focusing on content creation, link building, meta-tag optimization, 
keyword enhancement, etc. 
Pros: Long-term results, Inexpensive, Attracts 80% of search traffic 
Cons: Takes longer to see effect, Can be complicated, Unpredictable 
results

and bump up initial ranking and placement, but the effects are generally
