I am pleased to offer you the position of Associate Editor for SABRAO Journal of Breeding and
Genetics.
Duties of Associate Editors include finding reviewers for articles, approving reviewer decisions,
minor editing and proofing. Each Associate Editor would receive generally receive a maximum
of 6 articles per year in their area of expertise/interest, and would be acknowledged with as the
‘communicating editor’ for the relevant article. Associate editors may also be involved in general
journal matters such as evaluating the scope of the journal or special issues.
The Society for Advancement of Breeding Research in Asia and Oceania (SABRAO) is an
international society devoted to the basic and practical aspects of breeding research in
economically important crop plants.
I am looking forward to working cooperatively with you to strengthen SABRAO as a main medium
for exchanging and extending the advancement in breeding research in our region and
beyond.
