5S is a workplace organization method that consists of 5 Japanese words: Seiri (Sorting), Seiton (Systematizing), Seiso (Sweeping), Seiketsu (Standardizing), and Shitsuke (Sustaining). The 5S method is used to establish order and cleanliness in the workplace. It promotes efficiency, quality improvement and safety through visual management and standardization of processes.
