Nicolae Titulescu was a Romanian diplomat, lawyer, professor and politician born in 1882 who died in 1941. He advocated strongly for Romania to unite with Transylvania and believed Romania could not be whole or great without bringing Transylvania into the country. Even if he himself could not achieve unification, he aimed to help light the way for others to accomplish the great union of Romania.
