Hello!
We are Facilitators for organizations that
believe in the power of people. Teams that
work in harmony, trust each other, and end up
outdoing themselves, every day.
We believe that engagement is a pre-requisite for all learning to
happen – both in the real and in the virtual world. And engagement
can happen equally well in the virtual world too!
Virtual engagements come in many forms. Something done just
before starting a learning session or as activities interspersed
between official presentations, where everyone needs something to
lift up the energy.
Whatever be the need, there is always a right energizer to do!

Energizers that work!
To be inspired is great, to inspire is incredible.

1. Activity:
Follow the leader
4. Activity:
Where in the world
2. Activity:
Aroostasha
3. Activity:
Catch the sound
Without followers, there can be no leaders. The
challenge for the leader is to show the direction. While
the challenge for the followers is to be in sync with the
leader and the others in the team. Easier said than done!
Suitable for teams that are spread across different
geographies. Team members get to graphically represent
which part of the world they are from. Each piece of art
becomes an informal conversation starter!
Have everybody sing a fun little jingle. Everybody
follows (says and does) whichever command the
facilitator calls out. Easy for everyone to participate.
And just the right amount of fun to get the laughs
going!
We are surrounded by nature and its unique sounds
all around us – if only we care to keep quiet and listen
closely. The activity calls for participants to drop their
inhibitions and imitate, recognize the different sounds!

Spot the emoji
8. Activity:
Once upon a time
6. Activity:
Simon says
7. Activity:
Orchestra
Everyone loves emojis! But what if you are asked to be
one? Participants are challenged to act out different
emojis while the rest of them guess. A whole load of
laughter and fun guaranteed. Caveat: no respecting
hierarchies here!
Who doesn’t love a good story? Stories are engaging,
involving and carriers of meaning. And yet, creating a
story isn’t child’s play. Especially so, if you need to create
it dynamically between different team members!
The famous game that many would have experienced
in the real world – now adapted for the virtual
environment. Do anything only when “Simon says” you
do it. So simple an instruction and yet not so easy to
follow, as you will see!
Being a part of an orchestra is easier said than done. All
players in a team need to be perfectly in sync. A miss
here, a slip there and the orchestra goes out of tune! As
the orchestrator commands, can your team create an
orchestra?

Bollywood Wordplay
11. Activity:
Number Up
The name is a give-away. Yes, you need to draw a
portrait of someone else on the call. And we don’t have
forever – it is a timed activity. Brings out the best and
the worst in people – in terms of drawing skills. Laughs
guaranteed.
Great energizer when you want to get people moving a
bit in between a long call. Participants are sent scurrying
to look for different items that they need to “touch”
within a given time frame. Energizing and funny at the
same time!
A quick informal way to start a meeting. Participants
make a selection basis a Bollywood theme given. And
then they are asked to quickly link it to the purpose of
the meeting or session they have been invited to. Can
get hilarious!
It is as easy as saying 1-2-3! And yet it can get famously
difficult for everyone in the team if they don’t watch each
other keenly or if they are impatient. An activity that can
also be debriefed around important aspects of virtual
communication!

Enigma
The classic game can be adapted to the virtual space
too. Participants need to mime an activity or phrase
or person while the rest go on to guess. The chain
continues till the time available eis expended. Great fun
as always!
Dumb charades using drawing skills. Most people
cannot draw to save their lives. This makes it perfect to
be used as an energizer. One person draws while the
rest have to guess – a great fun way to start and use
the annotate function too!

Bumpy Bus Ride
Imagine you are all passengers standing in a crowded
bus. And on a road that is full of sharp curves and nasty
bumps. Add to that mix a reckless driver who loves
to speed. Now just hear the Facilitator and use your
imagination to live that ride!
