AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) is first in the Security Perspective of the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework CAF because in the cloud, first you grant access and only then can you provision infrastructure (the opposite approach of on-premises). In this session, you will learn how to define fine-grained access to AWS resources via users, roles, and groups; design privileged user and multifactor authentication mechanisms; and operate IAM at scale.

Getting Started with Containers in the Cloud: AWS Developer Workshop at Web S...Amazon Web Services
Getting Started with Containers in the Cloud: AWS Developer Workshop at Web Summit 2018
Speaker: Frank Munz - Technical Evangelist, AWS
Docker containers have celebrated a tremendous success in the last few years. They finally solved the "worked for me" issue and provide a lock-in free and standards based migration path from on premises to the cloud. So it does not come as a surprise that many microservices implementations these days build on containers. At the same time there is an increasing trend in the industry towards Kubernetes as an orchestration platform. However, running containers at scale adds extra complexity to your infrastructure.
This sessions helps you to overcome the obstacles and understand the full picture. From local Docker container development to a production environment for microservices based on Kubernetes in the cloud. I will kick off showing container basics in a live demo and then explore the details of running managed Kubernetes in the AWS cloud, including its setup options, deployment, and links to other AWS services.
Learn how AWS services for containers take the pain out of managing infrastructure, and best practices for developing new services rapidly while running them at scale.

Database Oracle e VMware Cloud™ on AWS: i miti da sfatareAmazon Web Services
