This document provides guidance on how students' PechaKucha presentations will be assessed in their Social Studies and English classes. In Social Studies, students will be evaluated on their analysis of conventional and alternative resource uses, explanation of how basic needs are met through goods and services production, and explanation of conflict and cooperation related to a resource. They are directed to answer guiding questions aligned to these criteria. In English, students will be assessed on referring to main ideas and details while speaking, and using language specific to their topic, for which word banks and guiding questions are provided. The document also outlines the research assessment criteria and timeline for completing and reviewing the presentations.
