 Facts are statements that can be proven.
 Facts can be true or false.
 Facts are not based on personal opinions.
Examples:

3. Cali is the capital of Colombia. (False fact)

3. What is an opinion?
 Opinions are statements that cannot be proven.
 Opinions can be argued. You can agree or disagree
with another person’s opinion.
