Project Natal is a new motion sensor device for the Xbox 360 that allows gameplay without controllers by tracking body movements, gestures, and voice commands using an RGB camera, depth sensor, microphone array, and custom processor. It can recognize full body motions as well as facial features and individual voices to sign users into games and respond directly to different people in a room. Users will also be able to control movies, web browsing, and more using natural hand motions and voice commands. The system will come with an interactive virtual guide named Milo.
