The Royal Ontario Museum is one of the largest museums in North America and the largest in Canada, housing about 6 million artifacts across more than 40 galleries related to art, world culture and natural history. Originally established in 1912 in Toronto, Canada, the museum features collections of dinosaurs, African art, Eastern Asian art, European history, Canadian history, minerals and meteorites within its original Italian Neo-Romanesque building designed by architects Frank Darling and John A. Pearson.
