What is the rotator cuff
The rotator cuff is a group of tendons around
the shoulder. They are responsible for lifting the
arm upwards.
They can tear after an injury or through wear
and tear by age.
A complete rotator cuff tear cannot heal. It leads
to weakness in lifting the shoulder and pain.
Later it can lead to wear and tear of the
shoulder joint.
