Hearing loss affects over 360 million people worldwide and has a significant impact on community economics and development. How does hearing loss affect your community and the world? You’ll understand economic and health aspects of hearing loss and learn about sustainable project opportunities your club can pursue to reduce the burden of hearing loss. 360 million people worldwide have disabling hearing loss. Hearing loss can cause social isolation and difficulties working. It is most prevalent in East Asia, affecting 22% of the population there. The main causes are ear infections, certain drugs, noise, and aging. Many people do not get help for hearing loss because of costs, lack of services, or stigma. Actions are needed for prevention, vaccination programs, children's programs, and noise protection worldwide.
Credit scoring
A credit score is a numerical representation of a person's creditworthiness based on statistical analysis of their credit files and reports. Lenders use credit scores to evaluate lending risk, determine loan qualifications and pricing, and identify the most profitable customers. Credit scoring analyzes past credit behavior according to the 5 C's - character, capacity, capital, collateral, and conditions - to predict loan repayment likelihood.
Credit Risk Model Building Steps
1. The document outlines the steps in building a credit risk model, including defining the objective, applying exclusions, determining the observation and performance windows, defining "bad" accounts, performing segmentation, selecting variables, building the regression model, and validating and recalibrating the model.
