Objective
Obtain a contract or part time design opportunity using my 3d and 2d drafting skills.
Summary
• As a Designer at Swindell Dressler I worked on all things that the
company designs, focusing on developing and evolving the 3D work the company had
introduced. This included layout work, running duct work, laying out steel, designing
equipment, and most importantly creating simplified designs for ease of use and simple
modification.
• I specialize in both Autocad and Inventor. I work interchangeably between
these programs on a daily basis and am comfortable using both programs.
• I have been using both Autocad and Inventor for over 10 years, 4 in high
school, 2 at ITT-Tech and 5+ through work experience. I have learned most functions of
both types of software, also feeling proficient in the 3D aspect of Autocad.
• Promoted from Designer to Senior Designer in 2011 while working at
Taggart Global. At Taggart I mainly ran pipe layouts in 2D and did steel design also in
2D. For the last year that I was employed there I helped with the effort to utilize Inventor
and aided in creating standard 3D truss models for use in conveyor belt systems.
