Castellón. Its limits and populations do not have to coincide with those of the current regions.
● The Teruel region of Maestrazgo.
● The Castellón region of Alto Maestrazgo.
● The Castellón region of Bajo Maestrazgo.
● In this landscape, it is also very important to point out the beceite-ibex, since in this sub-species it is in beceite-ibex
of Maestrazgo, it is more southwards in the mountains of Teruel. There are also large populations of wild boars, in
this area, different roe deer and some cervols begin to emerge.
● It is characterized by the large extenciones of sown, distributed
by the different valleys and hills.

Valencian Community, although it is assimilated to the region of the Bajo Maestrazgo in the
absence of regulations of regionalization in the autonomy, although its historical connection is
more firm with the region of Los Puertos de Morella and the districts of Tarragona. In 2006 the
Valencian Government declared the Natural Park Tenure.
● The most abundant are wild boars and beceite-ibex, there are also corzos, cervans and muflons that
escaped from an area destined for hunting.
● The mushrooms are very important in this area, there are also pine trees, holm oaks.
In this place there is a centennial oak and a pine that measures 4.2 meters in
diameter.
