The Bangladesh government is focusing on adopting information and communication technologies (ICTs) as part of its digital agenda to improve education. The British Council is contributing to this effort through after-school programs that use technology to help rural Bangladeshi students improve their English proficiency and ICT skills. One such program, called D-Net, established after-school clubs in several districts from 2012-2013 that trained over 500 secondary-level students and 20 facilitators in using English and technology.
