A director oversees all aspects of film production, ensures actors and camera are in the right places, and knows camera techniques and actors' lines to guide the movie.

To be a SPCA agent requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, animal care certificate, and SPCA training. SPCA agents care for thousands of animals annually through shelters and rely on donations as wages vary by location. The role requires a caring nature for animals and contributes to society through rescuing animals, education, and public safety.

Bartolomeu Dias was a 15th century Portuguese explorer born to a noble family. In 1487, he led the first European voyage to round the Cape of Good Hope and open the sea route from Europe to Asia. This proved Africa could be sailed around to reach India and Asia. In 1500, Dias died in a storm while accompanying another expedition near the Cape of Good Hope, the same area he had previously discovered and navigated.
Ernest shackleton
Ernest Shackleton was a famous British Antarctic explorer born in 1874 in Ireland. He led an expedition from 1908 to 1909 where he and his team came within 180 km of the South Pole, reaching a new farthest south latitude of 88°23'S. As a youth, Shackleton left school at age 16 to go to sea, securing a position on the sailing ship Hoghton Tower due to his father's connections. He died in 1922 at the age of 47.

Amelia Earhart was born in Atchison, Kansas in 1897. She had one sister and her parents were Edwin, a lawyer, and Amy, who was the first woman to climb Pikes Peak. She married George Putnam and their goal was for Amelia to set new aviation records and give lectures, but she disappeared in 1937 during an attempted flight around the world.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in Education
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
