This document discusses the findings of a study on the lasting impacts of intensive teen art programs at museums. It finds that such programs can have significant positive influences on teen participants' lives by providing supportive mentors, opportunities to engage authentically with artworks and artists, and experiences that foster diversity. Alumni of these programs often credit them as being the most impactful part of their youth and feel a strong connection to museums as a result. The study also finds that intensive teen programs can help change perceptions of museums and build a more diverse audience for the future.
