This document describes a teacher's experience participating in a multilateral Comenius project called "Legends of my town" where she traveled to Zagreb, Croatia. The teacher found the project to be an unforgettable experience, as she was attracted to learning about the history of the new place and found the other partners to be friendly, motivated people committed to the project. The project strengthened her belief in the importance of language training for international collaborations.

1. An unforgettable experience
Hello everyone! My name is Sabina. I am an History teacher at „Balasa
Doamna” Highschool ,in Targoviste,Romania.
I think of myself as being lucky because I was involved in this project which
has such a generous theme :” Legends of my town.”
It was the first time I have ever been involved in this kind of multilateral
project, Comenius. The journey to Croatia, at Zagreb had represented a
challenge for me. I have been atracted from the beginning by the history of the
place and Gabriela and Dubravka have done their best to combine what’s
usefull with what’s pleasant. The presentation of the schools and cityes of the
other partners had represented the key of the meeting.
I met friendly people , motivated and involved with all their hearts in this
project. The students showed that they can be tolerant with one other and that
they are capable to accept diversity.
In my case, this project had strengthened my believe that I have to work
at my language training , which is so necessary in this kind of projects.
I want to thank to the hosts Gabriela and Dubravka and also to some
wonderful people which had made me to wish to participate in this kind of
experinece once again.
