1. Re-Mrs Lisa McCollough-To Whom It May Concern
In my previous role as CEO of the VMCC Ltd I employed Mrs Lisa McCollough as a contractor from May
2010 to July 2013, mainly working on appearance co-ordination in bringing international motorsports stars
to our UK based events.
I also employed Lisa to improve our social media sites and have also used her expertise as regards to
historical preservation with reference to the VMCCs unique Library collection.
I was always delighted with the standard of Lisa’s work, which was completed in a punctualmanner and
always to an extremely high standard. I know Lisa to be honest and of good character.
As regards suitability for the work that Lisa would be undertaking for which she is applying I am happy to
give the flowing guidelines.
Lisa’s duties involved some very complex co-ordination & administration roles within my previous
business which (by its nature) was a most diverse one where attention to detail was paramount. Working
across time zones and continents whilst dealing with some “difficult” (sports star) personalities was a
challenge that Lisa always coped with in a calm and highly professionalmanner.
The organisation possesses the Largest Library of original material in the world relating to the history of
two & three wheeled transport on which Lisa gave excellent practical advice which lead us to better
working practices & promotion of that unique resource.
Lisa dealt with a very diverse range of people in her role from very seniorcorporate executives through to
members of the public whose ages range from youngsters through to the very elderly. Her communication
skills are excellent and she can deal with this wide range of people with a natural confidence and ease of
manner which is not something that can be easily learnt.
Lisa has excellent computer skills and made enormous inroads in to the improvement and maintenance of
our event databases whilst being involved with that important aspect of the business forwhich she was
originally employed.
I would therefore have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her for this position for just some of the
specific reasons listed above.
In my years of occupying senior managerial positions within large UK businesses Ican honestly say that
Lisa is one of the most highly motivated and conscientious people that it has been my pleasure to be
associated with.
Knowing Lisa as I do I would guarantee that she is motivated to seek the position for “all the right reasons”
which will involve having a very genuine interest and passion which would lead her to bring her
considerable abilities to the role in a most positive manner.
In conclusion I can say that in my new role as MuseumDirector of the UKs National Motorcycle Museum I
would have no hesitation of employing Lisa again.
