Mr. Anand G. Mahindra is the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., the flagship company of the US $6.3 billion Mahindra Group. He was born into a well-known business family and graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Business School. He joined Mahindra Ugine Steel Company as Executive Assistant to the Finance Director and was a co-promoter of Kotak Mahindra Finance Ltd. and Tech Mahindra. He has received several awards for his leadership and commitment to corporate social responsibility. In addition to his business achievements, he is involved in education and was the Founder Chairman of the Mumbai Festival.

4. EARLY LIFE & CAREER…. Was born into a well known business family. He graduated from Harvard College, and completed his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1981. He returned to India and joined Mahindra Ugine Steel Company (MUSCO) the country’s foremost producer of specialty steels, as Executive Assistant to the Finance Director. He was a co-promoter of Kotak Mahindra Finance Ltd., which in 2003 was converted into a bank. Also Tech Mahindra , a IT part of the M&M group is one of the fastest growing in the industry.

Named Business Leader of the Year by the Economic Times Awards 2008-2009

7. Know him more….. Apart from business achievements, The co-founder of the Harvard Business School Association of India. A director of The National Stock Exchange of India Limited appointed under the "Public Representatives" category. Takes keen interest in matters of education & apart from being the trustee of the K.C Mahindra Trust. the Founder Chairman of the Mumbai Festival [9] , which was launched in January 2005. The event was the first comprehensive festival to celebrate the rich cultural diversity of the city.
