9. OUR FUNDAMENTAL DEFINITION For Rodelillo, poverty implies the lack of a protagonistic, integrally- nourished family. Poverty, said another way, is a historic patrimony of families who do not exist, do not have, do not belong, and cannot gain access. In such a context, we see poverty as the greatest denial of human rights throughout the world. Rodelillo recognizes the great diversity of poverties and vulnerabilities in society. Moreover, we perceive their interconnectedness. For this very reason, we recognize the necessity that social inroads be co-constructed, by means of inclusive solutions.
