A mobile robot is an automatic machine that is
capable of movement in any given environment.
Mobile robots have the capability to move around in
their environment and are not fixed to one physical
location
Mobile robots are also found in industry, military and
security environments. Domestic robots are consumer

A service robot is a robot which operates semi- or fully autonomously

system, with manual override options
Service robots assist human beings, typically by performing a job that is
dirty, dull, distant, dangerous or repetitive, including household chores
