The robot brushed its teeth to follow social norms of dental hygiene. Creating the robot was challenging because it was top heavy and at risk of losing balance. Engineers added more weight to the bottom of the robot to counterbalance it and allow it to brush its teeth without falling over.

dental hygiene and when people don’t it gets noticed. The challenge with creating this robot was
keeping it balanced because it was top heavy. To fix this we needed to figure out a way to add
more weight to the bottom of the robot.
