Employment History
 Company: Dialight (2008 – Present)
 Position: Senior Design Engineer / CAD Systems
  Administrator
 During my initial year at Dialight, the company
invested in upgrading their CAD software from
AutoCAD R14 to Pro/E, as a seasoned user, I was
tasked with assisting in the implementation of the
new hardware and software. (CAD machines and
    Server)
 I was also tasked with the role of CAD administration,
this runs concurrent with my role as senior design
engineer, and involves ensuring the server is
operational, resolving issues as they arise.
 I also setup the company data base, i.e. new drawing
borders, configuration files (config.pro), the active
drawing configuration (active drawing.dtl) user access
rights, as well as resolving any software issues arising
  from Pro/E or PDMLink
 I was also instrumental in instigating a company wide
system for accessing released drawings through a 3rd
party application, prior to this the only access to
released engineering drawings was through a request
to the engineering department, this was an un-
  necessary load on the department.
 I have also instructed new users in the operation and
  techniques of Pro/E and PDMLink
Employment History

 Company: Flexible Lamps LTD (1999 – 2007)
 Later renamed to TRUCK-LITE LTD
 Position: Design Engineer
 Main duties of this position were to design from
customer requirements a wide range of automotive
lighting products, including rudimentary PCB design
 2 years working in the R&D Department
 1 year working in the test laboratory
Examples of Work
FL Show Stand

In 2002, I was tasked with producing a show stand.
The final show stand was enthusiastically received by visitors, and many
complementary comments were made.
The stand was used at many shows over a two year period.
Employment History

 Company: CU Lighting LTD (1994 – 1999)
 Position: Draughtsman / Design Engineer
 Main duties of this position were to design from
customer requirements a wide range of lighting

    and Stadium masts.
 Staring out as a draughtsman using a conventional
drawing board, I progressed to Design Engineer using
    Medusa NG CAD system.
Examples of Work

Millennium Walk - Portsmouth Happy Valley Racecourse – Hong Kong
Knowledge Base
 Throughout my carer history, I have had to develop
  products for various manufacturing techniques:
   Pro/Engineer
   Plastic injection moulding
 Single and multi-shot tooling, including insert &
       over moulding
   Die casting
   Extrusion
   Metal Stamping and multi-progression
