process” in BHEL.
In Brief: Generators play a major role in the production of electricity. As insulation is
known to be the heart of the generator. The latest technology for insulation in the world
adapted by B.H.E.L. is Resin rich and Resin poor process Resin poor system by using
vacuum pressure impregnation process when compared to Resin rich system has got
better Dielectric strength as carried out in vacuum also the cost is less and this is the
latest technology used today. This system is employed by B.H.E.L. first in Asia and
second in the Germany.
MINI PROJECT
• Project title: “A Simulink Model for Economic Analysis and Environmental Impacts of a
PV with Diesel - Battery system for remote villages” in KREST TECHNOLOGIES.
In Brief: The economic analysis and environmental impacts of integrating a photovoltaic
(PV) array into diesel-electric power systems for remote villages. Simulink is used to
match the load with the demand and apportion the electrical production between the
PV and diesel-electric generator.
