The Maharashtra government has launched the Ramai Awas Yojana to provide housing to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and neo-Buddhist people living in Maharashtra. Around 1.5 lakh homes have been distributed so far and 51 lakh more are planned. The Kerala government provides monthly financial assistance of Rs. 1000 to close relatives who shelter destitute widows, as part of a scheme to empower women and address impacts on widows. The Kerala Institute of Local Administration is a research center that undertakes training, research, and consultancy to strengthen local self governments in Kerala.

2. Ramai Awas Yojana 2022.
Ramai Awas Yojana has been started by the
Maharashtra government. The government
has planned to provide houses to the
scheduled caste, scheduled Tribes, and Neo
Buddhist people living in Maharashtra State.
Around 1.5 lakh homes have been distributed
by the Maharashtra government under
the रमाई आवास योजना. The government has
been planning to provide 51 Lakh houses to
the people in the upcoming days.

3. ABHAYAKIRANAM
Women's well-being depends on their
empowerment social, cultural, political and
economical. The Government of Kerala has
adopted various strategies to enhance the status
of women and empower them to address the
negative social and economic impacts. With an
objective of providing a safe and better living
environment to destitute and Homeless widows.
The scheme provides monthly financial
assistance of Rs. 1000 to the close relatives of
destitute widows who provide protection and
shelter to them.

4. Kerala Institute of Local
Administration (KILA)
Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA) is an
autonomous institution functioning for the Local governments
in Kerala. It was registered under the Travancore-Cochin
Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Act 1955. The
Central university of Kerala has recognised it as a Research
centre attached to the Department of International Relations
w.e.f 14 July 2014. Ever since its inception in 1990, KILA has
been engaged in myriad of capacity building interventions on
local governance and decentralization; including training,
action-research, publications, seminars and workshops,
consultancy, documentation, handholding and information
services.

5. KILA has the mandate of facilitating and accelerating the socio-economic
development of the State through strengthening the Local Self Government
Institutions (LSGIs). As a Government of Kerala supported nodal agency for
training, research and consultancy, KILA is committed to the following objectives:
 Undertake various training programmes for the Elected Representatives and
Officials of Rural and Urban Local Governments of Kerala,
 Facilitate and strengthen decentralized planning process,
 Undertake action-oriented research activities,
 Document best practices on local governance for dissemination,
 Organize seminars, workshops and discussions, and
 Formulate policy documents.

6. GOLDEN AGRICULTURE VILLAGE
SCHEME FOR KARNATAKA
Farmers in 1,000 villages of Karnataka, India,
are expected to benefit in a major way through
a new collaborative initiative that was
launched recently. In the first phase, 105
villages will be developed as model villages
and targeted farmers’ incomes will be
increased by 20% in one year through
augmented productivity, diversification and
market linkages.

7.  The Government of Karnataka decided to implement the Suvarna Krishi Gram
Yojana as indicated in the 2015-16 budget speech of the Chief Minister of
Karnataka in pilot districts which will be scaled-up in a phased manner in
subsequent years.
 The new initiative is expected to provide better livelihoods to thousands living in
rural communities in Karnataka through skill development, higher productivity,
profitability and increased happiness due to better infrastructure and facilities in
their areas.

8. Telangana Crop Loan Waiver Scheme
2022
The state govt. of Telangana has come up with this
TS crop loan waiver scheme so that the loans
which have been undertaken by the farmers of the
Telangana state can be waived off if they are not
able to pay it back. Through the implementation of
the TS Farm Loan Waiver Scheme, the farmers of
the Telangana state will be able to live life happily
and without any financial burden of loans and
advances that they have taken from any of the
people to carry on their daily livelihood. The state
govt. of Telangana has proposed to waive off all
agricultural term loans upto Rs. 1 lakh which are
outstanding till the cut-off date.
