This document provides information about a rhythmic gymnastics program being offered at Christ United Methodist Church from 2015-2016. The program will run in three sessions from October to June, meeting on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30pm. Both boys and girls will participate in flexibility, coordination, and strength training using various apparatuses. The goals are for the children to improve their physical skills and gain confidence while learning to perform and work as a team.

1. RHYTHMIC GYMNASTIC PROGRAM 2015-2016
(At Christ United Methodist Church, 800 Market Street,Chapel Hill, NC 27516)
Rhythmic Gymnastic is a complete discipline
that requires flexibility, coordination, balance,
technique, rhythm and elegance.The girls will
acquire a basic knowledge of ballet, modern
dance and contemporary dance. They will learn
how to work with different apparatus such Ball,
Ribbon, Hoop, Clubs and Free.
The boys will
acquire flexibility, coordination, balance and
strength and they will perform with apparatus
such Sticks, Balls, Hoops and Free.
They will all learn how to perform together
and to work as a team. They will improve
their physical skills and abilities and, they
will gain self confidence and ability to
focus.
PROGRAM CALENDAR 2015-2016 - Christ United Methodist Church in
Southern Village, Chapel Hill.
FIRST SESSION: October 8th - December 17th (10 classes )
Thursday class 3.30pm - 4.30pm - $230 (On due by September 15th).
SECOND SESSION: January 7th - March 10th (10 classes )
Thursday class 3.30pm - 4.30pm - $230 (On due by December 3rd).
In the event of inclement weather, or in the case your child misses some
classes, make up classes will be held on: March 24th and March 31st.
THIRD SESSION: April 7th - June 9th (10 classes)
Thursday class 3.30pm - 4.30pm - $230 (On due by March 3rd).
December 17th, 2015 Christmas Production. The exact time and place, still
needs to be decided. June 9th, 2016 End of the Year’s Production, place
and time, still need to be decided.

2. REGISTRATION FORM

An email of confirmation will be sent to you as soon as the check is received,
receipts will be given to the parents, at the end of the first class of each
session). New registration forms will be available two weeks before the next
payment is on due.

• Enrollment in the class is limited and spaces are first come first serve. Payment is non-
refundable and must be made in full for each session.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND CONSENT TO MEDICAL ATTENTION
I approve of my child’s participation in all class activities, with the understanding that such
activities carry with them an inherent risk. I hereby agree that I hold Beatrice Ruggeri,
Christ United Methodist Church and any person(s) affiliated with Rhythmic Gymnastic
Program, harmless of any injury, loss, damage, and any and all liability regardless of
circumstance while my child is in their care. I further agree that in the event of an
emergency I give permission for medical attention or treatment to be administered to my
child by a qualified medical professional. I acknowledge that injuries deemed minor by any
staff may be treated on site with first aid practices.
