Position Held – Self-employed free-lance Technologist in ladies and children’s knitwear. Supplying John Lewis, Monsoon, Mothercare &
Dorothy Perkins. Responsible for working closely with the designer, attending fit sessions from 1st
fit to sealing and liaison with factories in
China and Bangladesh. Overseeing yarn and garment testing, AQL’s and inspections.
LAGENES LONDON – Manufacturer December 2014 – November 2015
Position Held - Technical manager for ladies wear, Jersey and woven wear supplying Marks and Spencer. Responsible for a team of 5
technologists also working closely with designers, pattern cutters and machinists. Overseeing production which is carried out in Romania.
Attending production and technical meetings also responsible for supplying accurate updated information regarding all technical stages.
Responsible for team building and team planning to ensure a smooth running efficient department, whilst working efficiently with other teams as

Position Held – Technical Manager for Ladies, men’s and children’s wear in knitwear and some jersey wear. Responsible for working closely
with design regarding safety issues for children’s wear, attending fit sessions with the customer, seeing the garments through from 1st
fit to
production delivery, working closely with factories throughout, ensuring risk assessment is followed and relevant procedures are in place at the
factories for needle policy, metal detection, factory audits, sedex approvals etc, following a critical path, also responsible for instructing fabric
testing and safety requirements, passing tests reports, instructing care label information and approval of AQL’s, responsible for training an
assistant to junior tech level and overseeing other technologist on the team, responsible for the M & S account, familiar with M & S procedures
and CMS. All production is manufactured in China, Cambodia and Bangladesh, factory visit to Cambodia to assist an M & S visit.
