• When designing and developing a website, we always have
to consider the purpose of our website (the reason behind
developing the website: to inform, to persuade, or to
entertain) and the audience (who are we targeting when
the website is done).
• The same questions should be asked when we are
designing web pages.
• Web pages are another way of presenting information.
• They are multimedia, which means that they can consist of
text, images, video and sound.

4. Web page design:
• Web pages are the individual pages that make up a website.
• Normally the individual pages of a website will share the
same design features.

5. Navigation:
• Moving around a website is known as navigating.
• When creating a website, you need to think carefully about
how people will be able to navigate around your site.

6. Clarity of information:
• Clarity: refers to whether or not the information is clear
and easy to understand.
• When creating web pages, you must make sure that the
information is clear.
• You do this depends on the purpose and audience.
