scheduled.

Present Progressive tense (Present Continuous)
This tense is used to show an action that is happening now, a continuing action.
To be + verb stem ing
Eg. I am + walk ing

Past Tense
The past tense is used to talk about the past.
Normally we add ‘ed’ to the verb stem.

Irregulars
· Verbs ending in ‘e’ just add ‘d’. Eg. (to live lived)
· Verbs ending in consonant + vowel + consonant (stop, plan, admit, refer),
double the last consonant and add ‘ed’. Eg. (to stop stopped)
· Verbs ending in consonant + vowel + consonant that have two syllables
(happen, enter, offer, suffer), do not double the last consonant, just add ‘ed’.
Eg. (to happen happened)
· Verbs ending in consonant + vowel + L (travel, marvel), double the ‘l’ and
add ‘ed’ (to travel travelled) UK FORM
