Jesús Calleja is a Spanish mountaineer and TV presenter known for his program "Planeta Calleja" where he takes famous people on adventures around the world. He has climbed the Seven Summits, the tallest mountains on each continent, as well as many other mountains. In 2010, while climbing in Iceland, Calleja and his cameras witnessed the volcanic eruption of Eyjafjallajökull. His new adventures can be seen each Sunday on television.

Jesús Calleja is a mountaineer, naturalist, TV presenter and professional adventurer. He was born in
Leon (Spain) in 1965. Jesus Calleja has become famous because of his programme named ``Planeta
Calleja´´. In his programme he and many famous people had adventures in all over the world.
In his career, he has climbed the Seven Summits, that are the highest mountains in each continent:
The Everest in Asia, Aconcagua in South America, The McKinley in North America, The
Kilimajaro in Africa, The Elbrus in Europe, the Carstensz Pyramid in Australasia and the Vinson in
the Antarctica. And he has climbed many more mountains.
In one of his adventures in the mountains, he and his cameras saw the volcanic eruption of the
Eyjafjallajökull of Iceland in 2010.
