Airport Network Security
 The network design was implemented based on VLAN with Cisco routers, server and switches to provide security using
Firewall.
 The network has three departments check-in, waiting, security and a high-speed internet connection.
 In the waiting zone user has access to free Wi-Fi and services like Email, HTTP and FTP. In the check-in area, the user can
either self-check-in or desk self-in.
 All the departments do not have access to video-conferencing, but all other communication should be allowed on the internet.
 The users in all the departments should have inter-access communication with each other. All the departments should be on
different IP networks.
Access Control on WLAN
 Our implementation of this project is for student identification in a campus-wide network.
 A pre-defined Access Control List (ACL) is configured on the interface of a router as outbound. This access-list is compared
to the outgoing traffic of router and based on traffic is filtered through the router.
 Any interruption in the network is dangerous and requires denial of service (DOS) so security is provided by implementing
Firewall.
