2. This portal used by Daimler Mercedes Benz Car sales consultant (sales representatives,
sales admins) in different countries (GB, Chine, Switzerland, Turkey) as MBC point of
sale.
By using this portal users can select various types of new as well as used model of
different cars manufactured by Daimler Germany. User can give order of configurable
car. Whole process like selection of car, Trade in vehicles, Offer creation, and order
creation is done by using this application. User can print different documents like offer,
order, Terms and conditions. Different finance calculation option also available in this
portal. There are different interfaces, from where different requirements regarding
vehicle sales fulfilled.

This is a complex Migration project migrating the critical Business TEAM application’s
functionality of the client DNV - Norway from VB technology (window based) to .Net
Technology (Web Based).
DNV is a global provider of services for managing risk, helping customers to safely and
responsibly improve their business performance. Team office is the VB6 thick client
application which is used for filling timesheet and providing data for various finance
activities and it used for generating reports. New Team in .Net will provide As-Is
functionality with improved user experience on web. The framework is based on SOA
concepts.

Rail Europe sells passes and point-to-point tickets for rail travel around Europe. It has
commercial links to all European rail operators including SNCF, Eurostar, Deutsche

distinct geographical areas – REI, REL, RE4A, REC.
The Euronet system allows the booking and the distribution of train tickets and train
related products for the international markets. The Euronet system is used by all
geographical areas.

5. The objective of the Liira replatforming program is to transfer the current Liira system
onto a more modern technology platform. In order to reduce risks and maintain
operational capability, this is undertaken in several phases. The functionality of the
application will remain as-is within the scope of the program and this project.

system. Making functional changes to the system is not within the scope of this project;
rather, this project will enable future changes to be made. If, during the project, minor

TMS - The TMS system allows creating, opening, and resolving the tickets. Client can
define on his own all the setup starting from the status level, priority, call type, call
source, SLA management, and reports, like incident management, ticket ageing, and
ticket alert history
WFH - Work From Home is an internal operational tool of Capgemini. This tool is used
for generating request for work from home and allowing complete tracking of resource
under WFH, their asset allocations and monthly reimbursement claim. It is a
management tool for generating reports of different calculations for seat availability,
Laptop availability and Desk availability. Tracking and monitoring overall savings at the
project level.
FMA/AR - Failure mode analysis is identifying recurring failure points & AR
opportunities and by providing permanent solutions helps in reducing ticket c ount thus
saving FTE.
