Abstract:
Due to the semi-structured nature of RDF data, missing values affect answer completeness of queries that are posed against RDF. To overcome this limitation, we present HARE, a novel hybrid query processing engine that brings together machine and human computation to execute SPARQL queries. We propose a model that exploits the characteristics of RDF in order to estimate the complete- ness of portions of a data set. The completeness model complemented by crowd knowledge is used by the HARE query engine to on-the-fly decide which parts of a query should be executed against the data set or via crowd computing. To evaluate HARE, we created and executed a collection of 50 SPARQL queries against the DBpedia data set. Experimental results clearly show that our solution accurately enhances answer completeness.

Scheduler, reporting) throughout the company (implementation 2,5 years!)

Based on my organizational and coordinating experience within the
petrochemical industry I had the opportunity, as QA Manager, to set up
and implement for Xircom Europe an easy to use and practical ISO 9002
system, including certification (successfully TüV certified in less then 10
months). Optimization of various business processes within the young and
expanding environment.
Implementation and fine-tuning of the ERP system (Oracle) annex
reporting has been an everyday ongoing process during my career.
Resulting in the fact that all core logistics processes (internally & externally)
have been fully integrated in 1 ERP system.
The set up of an EMEA Distribution Center, as QA & Operations
Manager, ready for expansion of around 200 to 300%, became my
number one priority after the ISO9002 certification. In close collaboration
with my operations team, I molded our new ‘organization for the future’

(headcount of 22: planning, receiving, VAL, warehousing, reporting,
transportation, order picking, test en returns). Processes, flows, reporting

ea.) I took the opportunity to anticipate to the specific EMEA requirements,
