maintenance and support of the $3.9 billion health facility inventory for the 20 Bureau of Medicine and
Surgery (BUMED) Commands, covering 33 West Coast military bases and 20 Far East military bases in the
Navy Medicine West (NMW) area of responsibility.
Major duties as the Senior Planner for NMW Military Construction (MILCON) and Special Projects included,
close out coordination and management of issues dealing with Emergency Management, Antiterrorism,
Security Management, Joint Commission, and Fire Protection criteria.
Developed and implemented policies and methods that employed business planning and healthcare
requirements analysis, achieved mandatory project validation standards, and evaluated economic alternatives
to determine best economic solutions for the Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF) in the region
