Description: TCS is a web-based tool that can be used by John Deere units to solicit part cost
information, process an RFQ and evaluate cost information provided by Suppliers. It has a
corresponding Supplier tool called JDSN Collaboration Quote that allows Suppliers to create a
Quote containing cost information for a part and submit it to a John Deere unit for evaluation.
Responsibilities
 Interacting with the customer and gathering the requirements.

Description: Supplier Add is a tool for the Admin users of the JDSN Team. This application
provides the users with the information that they can use to add a supplier to the Network. The
application helps the user to approve the request of a supplier. The Supplier Add application
records data related to supplier profile and approval history. Any John Deere salaried employee
or contingent employee filling that role can submit a new supplier add request. The requests
will follow a series of approvals to ensure consistency and integrity in the vendor master list. A
new supplier will only be added to the vendor master list after the request has been reviewed
and approved by all approvers defined for that request type. The data displayed by supplier
profile comes from several sources. Supplier contact information is maintained in a separate
database by supplier profile.
