I am a dynamic and well-rounded professional with over 30 years of experience in different
areas of Finance & Accounts function. I exhibit good leadership qualities, possess strong
Communication skills and am endowed with strong analytical power, robust common sense,
presence of mind & impeccable integrity. I am highly dedicated and a finance professional
to the core.
 Present Employment:
I am heading the Finance & Accounts function of a private university as Comptroller
(Finance & Accounts) performing all the jobs which are common in an educational
institution. The university is engaged in imparting education in all streams with a selfless
motive to contribute to the society its bit. My areas of responsibility are Preparation &
Analysis of Financial Statements, MIS Reports, Contribution Analysis, Pay Roll, Cash
Management TDS Return, PF Return etc. Details are appended on the following page.
Previous Experience:
I worked with ROURKELA STEEL PLANT OF SAIL from 15th
July 1983 till 30th
Sep.
2013 for over 30 years in different areas of Finance & Accounts function Such As Costing,
Budget, Mines, Internal Audit, Stock Verification, Indirect Taxation, Employee Services,
Raw Materials, Fertilizer Plant, and Railway Freight & Insurance. I superannuated from the
services on 30th Sep. 2013.
 Prior to my joining SAIL, I worked with LIC of India at its Chandigarh Divisional Office for
about 9 years from 18th
Feb. 1974, after passing B.Sc. from Panjab University Chandigarh.
During this period, I passed the examinations conducted by Federation of Insurance Institutes
and was awarded Fellowship of the Federation of Insurance Institutes. I simultaneously
passed the examinations conducted by the then Institute of Cost & works Accountants of
India (Now Institute of Cost Accountants of India) in 1982. Thereupon I resigned LIC to
Join SAIL as Junior Manager (Finance & Accounts) on 15th July 1983.
 Due to my excellent performance, I got my first promotion as Assistant manager in less than
3 years, on 30th
June 1986. Due to my Strong skills and dedication, thereafter I was promoted
as Deputy Manager, Manager, Senior Manager, and Assistant General Manager on 30th
June 1989, 1993, 1997, & 2003 respectively. I was finally promoted & retired as Assistant
General Manager I/c.
 Expected Salary: Respectable Salary prevailing in the industry commensurate with the
Qualifications & Experience.

2 Calculation of Income Tax due from employees after grant of exemptions & deductions
as per I T Act and deduction of TDS from salaries.
3. Payment of all bills & deduction of TDS wherever applicable.
4. All jobs relating to TDS including Quarterly & Annual Return filing both for Salary
and other payments.
5. All jobs including Return Filing for EPF.
6. All jobs relating to Profit & Loss A/c and Balance Sheet Preparation
7. Fund flow management.
8. Budget Preparation & introduction of Budgetary Control.
9. Preparation of MIS.
