Job responsibilities:
Interfacing DCS system with third party systems, other equipment like standalone
controllers, HMI’s and RIO units in multi-drop mode etc.
In gas cracking plant implemented logic for furnace & turbines (CG & ethylene)
Establish modbus communication with Eliot Ebara,Honeywell,CCC and All vendor
system in DeltaV (10.3.2).
Preparation of IO assignment, SIS logic development. Software internal testing
with CEM graphics, FAT arrangement, GA, IA, BOM checking with customer, loop
testing, Software testing, preparation of instrument loop diagram, control
system schematic.
HART/Fieldbus tag configuration in AMS (11.3). Calibration report & data
modification in AMS.
Erection and commissioning of fieldbus tag in DeltaV & AMS. Also give
presentation to GAIL employee on ADM (Advance diagnostics module) in fieldbus
technology.
OPC communication established through firewall in Unit History node with plant
network.
Conducted hardware & software SAT of DeltaV & SIS system.
Knowledge of instrumentation panels & hardware console.
Preparation of instruments hook-up drawings and erection BOM.
Preparation of JB grouping & schedule, Cable schedule & Interconnection
schedule from field / MCC to DeltaV DCS.
Erection and commissioning of Pressure, Flow, Level, Temperature sensors
transmitters and Installation their trouble shooting & maintenance handled in
Emerson, Endress+Hauser, Yokagawa, ABB instruments like Furnace and turbine
area.
Erection and commissioning of On/Off valve (SOV), Remote operate valve
(ROV), motor operating valves and their position transmitters, I/P converters
handled in Fisher Control ,Metso controls , Auma, Rotork.
Analyzers:-Oxygen, SPM, Liquline handled in GAIL.
Making and reading of P&IDs, preparing instrument list as per P&IDs, preparing
I/O allocation on controllers, cable schedule preparation, logic diagram and
termination detail preparing.

Obtained Advance Diploma in Industrial Automation (ADIA) from
Technocrat Automation Pvt. Ltd. (IAO Accredited), Chennai. With 1-month
hands on practical experience in Industrial Automation Tools specializing in
PLC, SCADA and VFD.

Well versed with SAP, Documentation node and MS office Suite (word, Excel
and PowerPoint.
