requirement & providing the information to the team to get the requirement delivered.

Role: Product Management for Applied Materials
• In Supply chain management: Involving interacting with suppliers across the globe, Quote Negotiations, PO
generation (using MyOrder Tool & SAP), prioritization of parts required by customers to ensure faster
availability.
• Provide Customised Parts to the customer, development of Customer Specific Product, which involves
interaction with various customers globally, understanding customer requirement, Time Forecast for the project,
ensure delivery on time and collect feedback on the product ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Tracking the Components which are getting Obsolete and finding replacement which are Form, Fit and Function
equivalent as the old part.
• Engineering Part Number generation through PLM like Team Centre engineering with Oracle database
synchronization to control and update the engineering changes & make the new parts available in Client’s
database for the customer ordering.
• As a Change Management Engineer: Using CORE & Oracle to release the product in the Company Database,
Obsolescence Management & Up-revise (Design Change) of a part, thus recording the existence & Life Cycle of a
Product. This involves creating & handling ECR’s & ECO’s.
• As a Sourcing Engineer: Managing Purchase Agreement, Quality Appendix of suppliers and creating a report
of best suited suppliers to source the parts from.
• Handling a team of 2 for Selection of the Suppliers i.e Vendor Management.
• SPS (Supplier Problem Sheet) Management: Identifying the problems faced by the suppliers to manufacture a
part. Technical Co-ordination with the on-site engineers to solve any problems or issue in the production of the
