I am currently seeking work in the Social Service Mental Health field, for I feel that I was born
to help others. I am currently employed with a company named FEAT of Washington and my
job is working with children from ages 4-8 with autism. I have always been a compassionate
person with a lot to give to those that are in need. I attended Pierce College for over 2 years and
have obtained the training and degrees needed to work with those in the social service field. I
am currently attending Central Washington University online to obtain my Bachelor’s degree.
At a young age, I have wanted nothing more than to help others, for people have always been
important to me. For having that constant need to help others, I put myself through school, so
that I could advocate for those that are not able to. After 2 years of schooling and obtaining the
training needed to work in the field of my dreams, I gained my Associates Degree in Social
Service Mental Health.
I am able to forge excellent working relationships and collaborate with other staff and
community agencies to assist clients in meeting their treatment and life goals and am committed
to working creatively and collaboratively with clients. I believe that with my educational and
professional experiences, as well as my motivation, enthusiasm, empathy and compassion for
others, I could be a valuable and productive member of your team.
