Description:
The scope of the project was processing of Invoice for various clients. We are supporting
application Document Flow Manager (DFM) and Digital Workflow Platform (DWP) which are an
internet applications for invoice processing which was using nearly by our 70 clients. There are two ways to
send an invoice to Accenture one is Scanning and other is Emailing/eFax, we have six scanning centers like
Prague, Dalian, Bangalore, Manila, etc. once they have scanned invoice to Accenture will generate an Unique
Reference Number (URN) which will takes important role further invoice processing. In Emailing users will
send the invoice as attachment (pdf, excel, tiff.etc.) we have implemented the tool called Document Integrator
(DI) which will generate the URN for the Invoice which will sort by country wise in DFM and moves for
further approval of Invoice after all successful approvals invoice will complete processing and closed in DFM.
[AFS - Accenture Financial Systems]
The team maintains the Accenture BPO applications built on .Net Platform and SQL as a
Back end, known as project AFS (Accenture Financial Solutions). AFS is a Development, Deployment,
enhancement, support & maintenance team. It provides solutions like, Invoice Processing, Invoice Business
Approval Workflow and Invoice Retrieval Web Applications, Vendor portal, EFax and Emailing Solution, for
various clients.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Configure SQL Mail agent for sending automated alerts/email.
• Developed custom reports, tools to save manual efforts & time. Coordinate with onshore team
regarding Enhancements & Deployments in AFS and Operational Support.
• Resolving Incidents raised by clients on priority basis.
• Fixing the issues permanently to reducing incident count for repeated issues.
• Created and managed SQL Server login, database users and Roles.
• BMC Remedy tool Incident management and resolution.
• Worked on creation and modification of stored procedures in SQL to satisfy client requirements
which is used as lookup in the front end of the Invoice processing tool of AFS.
• Provide RCA for new issues that we come across by analyzing the available data.
• Identified the cause of recurring issue and fix it, if the issue cannot be fixed by our team then
escalate it to the respective team.
• Upgrading the application & database systems with deployment packages to their higher versions.
• Direct Interactions with Team to discuss about the issues every day.
• Designing stored procedures and Triggers.
• Fixed the issues requested by the client after implementation.
Deployment (DFM):
• Primary tests of all the processes developed by the development team were done using self prepared
various functional and technical complex test cases before UAT, to ensure hassle free delivery to the
client. Different complex test cases are prepared based on the functional flows which are included in
the processes according to the client’s requirement.
• Deploying new Application DFM (Document flow Management) processes developed for new deals
by the development team in the existing and upgraded environments and doing primary tests to ensure
proper delivery of the process.
• Performing monitory activities such as application performance etc.
• Coordinating with Development team during the requirement analysis of the process to consider the
run time issues which we were facing during the production and the steps taken to fix those run time
issues.
• Implementing new scripts in the process to improve the processing speed of documents to the client
Key Achievements:
• Have been awarded :Individual - Award for Excellence in Business Operations, one of the most
prestigious awards in Accenture.
• Received appreciation from the clients for resolving their issues and updating them with the correct
information as they required.
