Electronic Tracking & Tracing is a web based internal UPS system that provides package inquiry and
data entry functions to a diverse group of users. It also provides the ability for the designated Tracing
Agents to work a previously entered tracer (the information about a lost package under investigation)
until either a positive resolution (package found) is established, or a determination has been made to
issue a claim.
UPS Proactive Response application provides 7x24 monitoring of qualified in-transit packages for
conditions that place the package at risk for missing the service commitment. When one of these
conditions occurs, an at-risk incident is raised to notify a monitoring agent. Agents investigate at-risk
cases and take corrective action as needed

maintenance. The project comes under the IBM Account (previously called IBM Global Account – IGA)
which is spread over most of the IBM locations across the globe. I got the opportunity to perform
multiple roles like Application Developer, Tester, Librarian, and Rational Team Concert Administrator
throughout my tenure in this project.

As an Application developer, I was responsible to perform the technical activities which involve analysis,
design, development, testing and implementation of minor and major enhancements of 8 different
finance applications of IBM Italy. Apart from enhancements, I was responsible to provide production
support for finance applications.
