Objectives:
To find employment were I can demonstrate my skills to help me and my employer be successful in
improving production and cost in all assigned job task.
Experience:
I have over twenty four years’ experience in the shipyard industry in dealing with everything from New
Construction to Repair and conversion of various projects aboard ships. This includes various New
Construction projects of Supply Ships, PSV’S to Navy DDD’S LHD’S and LPD’S. There has also been Repair
and Conversion Projects from Offshore Drill Rigs to MSC and Navy projects during my years of experience. I
have over fifteen years of experience in supervising and managing employees and supervisors in many task.
At my current position I am the manager of New Construction and Repair Projects were I managed six to
eight supervisors and over sixty employees, were as a team we have accomplished many savings in cost,
production and quality. One of many accomplishments is the continued safety record of five years with no
recordable injuries while under my lead.
I had four years with the US NAVY SEABEES as a reservist were I was HT with a rank of
E-5 when my time was done.

Managed and oversee daily shipyard functions in both new construction and repair. Insure all safety and
environmental procedures are followed and kept up to date .Keep employees daily, weekly, monthly and
yearly shipyard and OSHA required training are maintained and kept on schedule. Insure production
schedules are maintained and the proper manning requirements are meet and kept in accordance with hours
and budget provided. Set yearly PDR goals for supervisors and insure that they are productive in obtaining
them .Keep department procedures in safety, quality and production up to date and to standards of shipyard
production, quality assurance and regulatory expectations.
