• Coded the ESPP module for Certent platform, using VB.NET and Oracle SQL backend for Web Form
based SaaS product. Applied ESPP updates for Certent clients like Workday, TriNet, MSSB & Fidelity.
• Coded for various parts of the Certent platform, adding enhancements and bug fixes when asked.
• Designed & coded a C#, NetSuite API to Team Foundation Server API Issue extractor. Nightly, this
Software would scan NetSuite for newly created Issues, then create new TFS WorkItems for each.
• I was the Release Manager for weekly hotfix and scheduled releases since 2010, ensuring that these
releases fully complied with our SAS 70 annual audits.
• Recently, as Certent converted to Agile development environment, I ensured SAS 70 compliance and
coordinated releases with the Product Owners and developers.
Software Engineer, Embedded Alloptic September 2000 – February 2005
• Designed and coded embedded communication software for a 68020-based Switch Control
Module(SCM) card for an Ethernet Passive Optical Network(EPON) product. This functionality provided
Configuration, Status and Redundancy control the product line.
• Designed and coded ‘keep alive’ polling for all system hardware modules. Implemented this using a
coded Finite State Machine.
Software Engineer, Embedded Symetricom, Inc. 1996 – 2000
• Added C-Language code to an existing, combined Assembly/FORTRAN firmware application build. This
both modernized this product and enhanced the ability to add new features to the code base.
Product is a GPS-based, Stratum 1, Primary Reference Source(PRS).
• Added Alarm, Status & Control enhancements to the PRS product.
• Designed and coded a graphical interface to show the accuracy of the timing products.
Software Engineer, Embedded Ascom Timeplex 19888 – 1996
• Designed and coded Networking firmware for an 8088-based Controller card supplying node-to-node
communications along the product backplane; used for Provisioning and Status/Alarm reporting for the TX-3
product (M13 Multiplexer) product. Included is the low-level driver for an 85c30 Serial Controller chip(SDLC)
and Programmable Interrupt Controller(PIC) chip.
