Project Synopsis :
Testing service assurance part (T2R) of the E2E journey needs provide orders from Lead to Cash journey
(L2C). The provide order take much time so the T2R journey has to wait for completion L2C. Test Harness was
introduced to resolve this. This is test environment simulation tool which stubs the input to the T2R components
and thereby removing the dependency of L2C journey. Test devices were replaced by simulation agents
modeled using MIMIC, a network simulation tool, which considerably reduced the cost of Network interlock
testing.

and profit to BT. Also the records are maintained in Papers which are hard to track for future enhancements. To
overcome these hurdles, PIPER database was introduced which maintains all existing paper records. An analyst
will get the basic connection details from surveyor like customer address and plan details. Analyst will use the
ARC GS software to find the possible effective route from base station to Customer location. Then using LUMS,
Analyst will pick the existing pricing details of the region and do cost estimates for the plan offered and for all
network piping work. There results will be shared to surveyor for further actions.

Motorola solutions home website which was created in late 80’s has compatible issues with current
version of browsers. So Motorola Solutions has decided to upgrade the home page scripts with AEM, which is a
webpage template designing tool of Adobe. AEM has in-built designs for templates, which could be customized.
The final customized design is tested with components present in existing older version of Motorola Solution’s
webpage and required change to adapt the current contents are made. As a tester, we have to test all the
webpages and its performance manually and through schedules jobs. Also testers will test the webpage for
compatibility for various browsers and mobile devices. On completing the regressive testing, the bug free code is
deployed in production for customer usage.
